Meet Trifork Smart Building One

At Trifork, the team builds software, often working from the office (though remote work from home or even the Bahamas is also common). However, the team has not always been impressed with their office buildings. To address this, they decided to take control and construct their own buildings that meet their standards. A few months ago, they moved into the first of these, named Trifork Smart Building One, located in Aarhus.

When building they have three main goals: Make the building as sustainable as possible, ensure that the building has a great indoor climate and make the building smart!

If you would like to hear about this and get a guided tour of our 4 storey office, build almost entirely out of wood and recycled materials, where we reuse the rain water for flushing the toilets, are off grid for heating (and almost for electricity), have focused on how to make a great office space for software developers and where we think of the building as a software platform, then please join us for this morning meetup.

SPEAKER - CLAUS NYHUS CHRISTENSEN

Claus is currently in his second period at Trifork. During his first period, he worked as a software developer, focusing on building Trifork's J2EE application server called T4 (a reference that may resonate with those familiar with J2EE). In his second period, Claus serves as a Business Unit Leader, aiming to enhance the work experience for his colleagues by securing engaging projects and fostering the best possible working environment.
