Aarhus-based Cordulus, the leading provider of AI-based weather solutions in Northern Europe, has just secured a DKK 22 million investment from Danish Agro and the Pajbjerg Foundation. The company offers advanced weather data and has created an AI-powered weather model that can predict the weather with unprecedented accuracy. This investment will now enable a faster expansion of the company’s weather solutions into new markets.

As the weather becomes increasingly extreme and unpredictable, a growing number of businesses are affected. This has created a high demand for detailed weather insights and forecasts that take into account local microclimates.

Hyperlocal weather forecasts with AI

Cordulus has been using artificial intelligence for several years to deliver hyperlocal weather forecasts that the company claims are now 50% more accurate than traditional methods. This is achieved by integrating and analyzing a wide range of data sources such as satellite imagery and radar, while receiving millions of weather measurements daily from their own network of weather stations, which with over 4000 active units is the largest in Northern Europe.
