Aarhus-based software company Minds and Co, which specializes in digital solutions for the wind turbine industry, has been acquired by Norwegian AI company Antire. The acquisition marks the start of a closer collaboration to develop and scale digital solutions for the green transition in the energy sector.

“It’s the perfect match at the perfect time. Right now, we are uniquely positioned in relation to the digitalization taking place in the energy sector, and we see an opportunity together with Antire to win an even larger share of the market through value-added services and to expand faster to the Nordics and the rest of Europe,” says Jesper Lund Christensen, CEO of Minds and Co. in a LinkedIn post from Incuba.

Minds and Co. is based in Incuba Katrinebjerg and has for a number of years developed software solutions for optimizing and operating wind farms. With Antire as a new owner, the company gains access to a broader technological platform and greater resources to expand its presence in the European energy market.

Backed by Norwegian private equity fund Credo Partners, Antire has strong ambitions to become the leading Nordic player in industry-specific AI solutions. The energy sector is a key focus area, and the acquisition of Minds and Co. is seen as a strategic step towards strengthening the company’s position in this market.

According to the parties, the acquisition is not only a question of a change of ownership, but also a way to combine competencies and technology to offer customers in the energy sector more scalable and efficient solutions – both in Denmark and the rest of Europe.
