Incuba has been searching for the right profile for the position of Head of Acceleration since October, as the current CEO of Incuba, Jakob Doktor Mogensen, came from that role.
Strong knowledge of the local ecosystem
Incuba has now found the right person for the job in Lars Louring, who comes from a position at the angel investor network DanBAN, where he has worked with matching startups with investors. Previously, he has also been a program manager for Startup Factory and manager at the startup community The Startup Company. In addition, he has been part of the jury at the Aarhus Investor Summit, where he has helped select both Investor of the Year and Startup of the Year. An award that the same Incuba is behind.
With a background as an entrepreneur, Lars Louring also has practical experience in starting and running businesses. He has participated in Incuba StartupLab and the accelerator program Startup Chile and founded a company focused on sustainable construction.
Louring brings both a deep understanding of the startup environment and a broad experience in connecting entrepreneurs and investors. In the new role as Head of Acceleration, Louring will help ensure that Incuba continues to be a strong driving force in supporting and developing growth companies in Aarhus.
