Slaraffenland for talent scouts: Promising startups took to the stage – meet them here
On Thursday, Incuba hosted the final Gin & Tech event of the year at Navitas, where a number of promising local startups had the opportunity to present their projects in front of an audience of investors, mentors and other players in the ecosystem. It was an afternoon of healthtech, ESG and AI. And the gini bar, of course.
One of the startups that took to the stage to deliver a four-minute pitch was Complychain, just over four months old. Complychain is developing a SaaS platform to make it easier for companies to manage their compliance activities such as GDPR and ISO certifications.
“We are very early in our journey and this is only the second time we are pitching in this way,” says Complychain co-founder Martin Bøge Jørgensen.
Getting out and feeling the environment
The young startup first became a startup in August. Before that, the founders had been supporting companies as consultants for a while. Here they quickly encountered compliance as a major headache for many companies.
“We met through our studies, where we found a shared passion for entrepreneurship. When we encountered the challenges that many people have with expensive and cumbersome compliance, it was clear to us that we had to create a solution in this area,” says Martin Bøge Jørgensen.

Even though the founders are just starting out, it’s important for them to get out and make some connections and networks in the ecosystem. That’s why that was what they were pitching for, not capital.
“We’re here to get out and feel the environment and get a lot of input from others,” adds Søren Hatting Hjertholm, another co-founder of Complychain.
